Its is the best recipe for rolls I have ever made.
Dinner Rolls
Scald 2 cups milk
1/2 cup of butter
2 Tablespoons of yeast in lukewarm 1/2 cup water
2 beaten eggs
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tsp. salt
Put 6-7 cups flour to make a soft dough. Just spoon not knead. Let rise tell doubled. Roll out and cut. Make like parker house rolls. Put on buttered pan and let rise. Bake 375 for 10 to 15 min.
These look fabulous!!! I'll have to give them a try.
ReplyDeleteI have attempted her rolls several times, but it looks like you are much better at baking than I am...they look perfect! Now I know where my mom got her awesome "bread/roll making abilities from. :)
ReplyDeleteI think Im logged in on Daves google account...this is Morgan by the way, probably didnt need to tell you though. Haha, can you imagine Dave slaving away in the kitchen on these rolls. :)
ReplyDeleteI made these rolls a few weeks ago and they disappeared so fast, that last week (for Sunday dinner) I doubled the recipe. With the leftover rolls we were able to send sandwiches home for all the guys lunch boxes. I made them again today to take to our friends home. They seem to be a hit everywhere!! They are fail proof and look just like this picture. I love them with honey...yummy. Good job Mom:) Love you.
